Subject: Grant of Term Work Credits for Applied Mathematics I & II for NEP-2020 pattern
This is to inform all concerned students that those who did not receive term work credits for Applied Mathematics I and Applied Mathematics II in the May 2025 examination are now being granted the same by the University as per the circular No. AAMS/2026/Feb/23375 dated 12th February, 2026.
The University has approved the allocation of 1 credit per semester, as follows:
Applied Mathematics I (Semester I): 1 Credit
Applied Mathematics II (Semester II): 1 Credit
As a result, students who were previously facing a drop due to having only 30 or 31 credits because of Mathematics can now become eligible for admission to the Second Year.
However, it is mandatory that the May 2025 examination result will be considered for eligibility. Students are advised to contact College Examination Cell on or before 30-03-2026 for further assistance and confirmation.
