Subject: Grant of Term Work Credits for Applied Mathematics I, II, III and IV for NEP-2020 pattern
This is to inform all concerned students that those who did not receive term work credits for Applied Mathematics-I, Applied Mathematics-II, Mathematics-III and Mathematics-VI in the May/June 2026 examination are now being granted the same by the University as per the circular No. AAMS/2026/Feb/23375 dated 12th February, 2026 and circular No.2026/APR/AAMS-III/C-24/40664 dated 24th April 2026.
The University has approved the allocation of 1 credit per semester for mathematics subject tutorial, as follows:
Applied Mathematics I (Semester I): 1 Credit
Applied Mathematics II (Semester II): 1 Credit
Applied Mathematics III (Semester III): 1 Credit
Applied Mathematics IV (Semester IV): 1 Credit
As a result, students who were presently unable to secure admission to
1. To Second Year (SE) due to having only 30 or 31 credits against the required 32 credits, or
2. To Third Year (TE) due to not completing the required 76 credits (NEP pattern), or
3. To Third Year (TE) due to not completing the required 70 credits (R19(FE)+NEP(SE)) student, or
4. To Third Year (TE) due to not completing the required 32 credits (DSE NEP pattern) student,
on account of the Mathematics Tutorial subject, may now become eligible for admission to the respective year.
However, it is mandatory that the May/June 2026 examination result will be considered for eligibility. Students are advised to contact the College Examination Cell within 2 days of the declaration of results by the University, for further assistance and confirmation.
