The objective of Project Management course is to familiarize the students with the use of a structured methodology/approach for each and every unique project undertaken, including utilizing project management concepts, tools and techniques. Provide knowledge of project management life cycle and make them knowledgeable about the various phases from project initiation through closure.

At the end of the course student will be explain the significance of project management, stages in project life cycle, role & skillsets of project manager. Student will be able to make use Work Breakdown structure (WBS), Cost estimation techniques, PERT, CPM, Gantt Chart for project planning & scheduling. Able to identify crashing activities & resource allocation   methods to reduce the cost of project. Student will make use of earned value technique, effective communication, team building, project metrics, need for outsourcing in measuring monitoring and controlling of the project. Able to demonstrate risk management, leadership skills, role of ethics, good documentation in the development of projects.
