University Circular - Regarding Exam Form Filling Deadline

With reference to Circular No. Exam/Exam Form/Result Cell/597/2026, dated 4th August 2026, received from the Examination Department, University of Mumbai, all students are hereby informed as follows:
As per the provisions of the Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016, the University has introduced certain necessary changes in the examination process to ensure the timely declaration of results. Accordingly, for the academic year 2026-27, Examination Admission Forms for the Winter-2026 (Semester 2026) examinations will be accepted only online, along with the prescribed fee, through M.K.C.L. or the Digital University Portal (mum.digitaluniversity.ac). The exact dates for commencement of examinations and for acceptance of examination admission forms will be notified on the University website.
Students are requested to strictly note the following:
1. The Inward Link for submission of examination admission forms will close automatically at 5:00 PM on the last date of form submission. Forms cannot be submitted after this time, and the deadline for acceptance of forms will not be extended under any circumstances.
2. Before submitting the examination form, students must ensure that their photograph, signature, name (in both Marathi and English), medium, subject, and Person with Disability (PwD) status, if applicable, are correctly entered, since this information will be used for the mark sheet and degree certificate. No corrections will be possible once the form has been submitted.
3. After the final date for acceptance of examination forms, the deadline will not be extended under any circumstances. Students are advised not to wait until the last moment and to refrain from requesting extensions from the College or University administration.
All students are hereby informed to strictly comply with the above instructions and fill and submit their examination forms well within the prescribed deadline to avoid any inconvenience. A copy of the University circular is enclosed herewith for reference.
